Gaia Royal Hotel - Mastichari (Kos)

The hotel is really nice with a beautiful beach just a short walk away. The pools are super cool and spacious, and the staff were really nice and helpfull. Breakfast was tasty and i loved the little petting area with goats and birds.

The food options could be way better and the mosquito problem here is no joke. It was kinda stressful dealing with those bugs.

The rooms they offer were beautiful and spotless with amazing views, 2 under 2's with buggy plus separate bedroom.

Stayed here for holidays, everything was perfect, I loved unbeatable and incredible location near to beach. A nice size room with great view, the staff was excellent. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, it was outstanding. I had relaxing days staying at this family-friendly hotel.

The staff were accommodating and helpful! Beach access was superb, with fine sunsets and clean sandy shores providing a lovely atmosphere for relaxation.

The beach was good and clean, but you must pay for umbrella and sun beds.

The kitchen has a poor variety and you cannot pay with credit card, the staff speaks English very bad, the hotel is very far from the city center. You have to use taxi to reach to the city center for Euro 25 for one way.

All Inclusive : The same snack and only snack was served every day (rubbery cheese and ham in stale bread), the hotel was not actually in Mastihari as described and the staff were often not very friendly.

The daytime activities kept us entertained, and we loved playing tennis on the courts with my five grown kids. The beach itself was fine and not overcrowded.

In my wife's opinion, the food variety could definitely use improvement.

We enjoyed the beautiful beach (the sunsets were unreal! !) And the delicious food served in the restaurant (especially the Greek night!). The staff were friendly and always ready to assist. The kids loved the mini zoo!

I loved that the pool areas were spacious with plenty of loungers available. The beach bar had a great vibe and the sandy beach was beautiful with a nice sunset view. The food had some hits, with nice dishes that I enjoyed during meals. I appreciated the fact that the hotel offered large green spaces full of flowering plants. The all-inclusive offerings left a bit to be desired. After 11 PM, I had to pay for drinks. The lack of coffee or tea in the room was also disappointing, considering breakfast didn't start until 7:30 AM. Other minor hiccups included occasional delays in breakfast service and a shortage of cups and glasses. While the room was clean and had a nice side sea view, it was frustrating not to find an ironing board available . Despite these inconveniences, my overall experience was enjoyable, mostly due to the wonderful people I was with. Would consider returning, but not without some reservations about the all-inclusive details.

The pools were enjoyable, while bottled water was a recurring inconvenience.

Perfect Location & Friendly Staff

Had an awesome week! The beach was fine and not crowded. The pizza from the poolside snack bar was delish, just what we needed after a long day. The only letdown? Reception staff were sweet and super helpful!

The breakfast choices were satisfactory. The staff were great. Having a room with a beautiful view of the ocean was a lovely highlight. The garden view surrounding the hotel added a tranquil touch that I appreciated as well.

Just a reliable pick for a passing visit in Mastichari with value for price. The garden view around the hotel was surprisingly refreshing. Don't forget to check the local bus schedule ahead of time for easier travel.
